Kitchen - Woollahra
Ample storage space can be just as important as a functional layout when it comes to
good kitchen design. Here arcylic benchtops, coloured glass splashbacks, two-pack
polyurethane spray-painted finishes and stainless steel appliances and door hardware give
this open-plan kitchen a very contemporary feel.
The high standard of the finishes is in keeping with all our projects. The trick is in
seeing the detail; here the curved melamine cabinets, which lead from the kitchen into the
rest of the house, were a work of love in themselves.
The customer and architects were delighted with the end result.

Built-in wardrobes and bookshelves -
Bondi
Sleek, stylish and modern, these built-in wardrobes perfectly suit this executive
apartment. The mirrored look creates an impression of size in a smaller space.
Wall-to-wall wardrobes give plenty of storage space and are a great asset when it comes to
increasing the value of your property. In this case the material used was painted melamine
with a lacquer finish. Built-in bookshelves in the hallways complement the design in the
bedrooms, as does the built-in television cabinet.
Simple, stylish door hardware can change the look of a wardrobe from contemporary to
antique looking and can help create a unified look within an apartment by using the same
door handles in other parts of the residence.

Bunk beds and clever cupboard storage -
Vaucluse
With children come storage, study area and accommodation needs. For these children's
rooms, Maluva Joinery followed the customer's request to construct and hand-paint a clever
system, which incorporates all of their requirements.
Our personal commitment and experienced workmanship ensured this project was completed to
the owners and their children's delight. The fun colours give each room a separate
identity.

Bathroom joinery - Woollahra
Bathrooms, like kitchens, are always very individual, because everybody has their own
particular tastes. If you have the luxury of designing your own or having one designed,
there is no limit to what can be done.
Such an example is this bathroom, which was quite a work of art, because to bend the
timber to fit the rounded bathtub was a challenge, which required experienced workmanship
and lots of patience. The striking result speaks for itself, a real wow factor for guests.
The dark timber blends beautifully with the limestone tiles and the custom-built vanity

Bathroom cabinet conversion - Mosman
Sometimes simple changes such as new paint or replacing doors can refresh a dark and
tired look.
In this private residence in Mosman, Maluva Joinery was requested to change the cabinets
from timber to modern polyurethane paint finished cabinets, keeping the marble benchtop
and sink.
This simple conversion now blends effortlessly with the contemporary home and yet created
minimum impact for the family.

Custom Built Furniture - Timber Toy Truck
At Maluva Joinery no job is too big or small.
We are a family business and like to get our family involved in the love of
timber from a very small age. This toy truck is a unique Maluva design,
custom built to suit our toddler and sturdy enough not to tip over when
being pulled, pushed, climbed on and imaginatively 'driven'.
We enjoy creating custom built furniture and are often invited to make
